Background
PAST EXPERIENCES

From an early age, my aesthetic tastes were nurtured in a family deeply involved in the interior design industry since 2002. My childhood was enriched by reading interior design books and attending prestigious European design and art fairs. I filled my notebooks with sketches of interiors and floor plans, envisioning spaces that would intrigue and captivate.

Though my academic pursuits led me to study Economics and Psychology at McGill University in Montreal, my professional path initially diverged into marketing. It was only upon joining Designlab Experience, an agency renowned for its bespoke architectural design and artistry, that my latent passion for interior design was reignited. Here, I was fortunate to work on projects that collaborated with illustrious figures, such as Edoardo Tresoldi, Studio Precht, Arthur Mamou-Mani, Studio Toer, and Roberto Conte, which profoundly influenced my creative trajectory.

After graduating with honors from DETALI Interior Design School in Moscow, I swiftly embarked on my inaugural projects and established my own design practice within the same year.

My extensive travels have allowed me to live, study, and work in a variety of culturally rich environments, including Canada, the USA, Italy, France, Russia, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. These diverse experiences have shaped my design philosophy and approach.

PHYLOSOPHY
VALUES AND WORK PROCESS

In my design practice, I prioritize a coherent concept and narrative that infuse spaces with thoughtfulness and purpose. Whether integrating art and vintage pieces or selecting materials for their specific effects, intentionality is the cornerstone that unifies every project.

Each project commences with an in-depth understanding of the site's context and history. This foundational knowledge informs the creation of interior architecture that harmonizes seamlessly with the existing space. The architectural elements—floor plans, pathways, entryways, axes of symmetry—serve as a stage for life's daily acts, creating a scenography of living.

When addressing the decorative aspects, I strive to infuse each space with a sense of place and history. This is achieved through a thoughtful combination of collectible and vintage pieces, bespoke designs, art, and carefully selected materials and textures.

Aesthetics, with their power to evoke emotions and tell stories, are a continual source of inspiration for me. My journey is one of perpetual growth and learning, constantly seeking new inspirations and refining my craft. I firmly believe that our living spaces profoundly influence who we are and who we aspire to become. Thus, it is imperative to nurture and curate our environments, continually cultivating them to support our personal growth.

STYLE
DESIGN AESTHETIC

My design inspiration is deeply rooted in the Art Deco movement, drawing from the works of Jean-Michel Frank, Marc du Plantier, Pierre Chareau, Eileen Gray, Paul Dupré-Lafon, and Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann. Additionally, the contributions of contemporary interior designers such as Jacques Grange, Andrée Putman, Yves Gastou, and Peter Marino greatly inform my aesthetic approach. This eclectic blend, coupled with my affinity for minimalism and harmonious architectural forms, defines my unique design ethos.

Central to my design philosophy is a passion for the decorative arts. As a collector, I integrate vintage and collectible items into every project. My role as a curator of space is to shape interiors that are minimalistic yet refined, integrating historical references in a contemporary context.

Inspired by Le Corbusier and other luminaries, I approach each project from multiple artistic perspectives: interior architect, interior and furniture designer, stylist, and artist. I frequently collaborate with skilled artisans or craftsmen to create custom furniture pieces. The final touches, such as ceramic decor, are often my creations, ensuring a cohesive and deeply personalized design.
