Architectural features such as arched doorways, metallic plinths, glass blocks, rounded corners, cylindrical forms, axes leading to the light, and enfilades all serve as a tribute to the diverse architectural traditions of Palladian architecture and constructivism.
Project Image
In curating the interior design and selecting the furniture, I took inspiration from the aesthetics of mid-century style, as well as the 1960s, a time period and style that the client was leaning towards. The fabrics and colors selected remind of that era, creating a space that is both nostalgically charming and timeless.
Project Image
The living room and kitchen are merged into one expansive space, as the clients love to entertain, host cozy dinners, play board games, and enjoy poetry readings with friends. The integration of these spaces not only maximizes the use of the area but also fosters a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Project Image
The guest room is a versatile space, currently serving as a study and designed to transition into a children's room in the future. A distinctive feature of this room is the rounded wall, which acts as a canvas for wall paintings. This creative element adds an additional layer of depth to the space, allowing for continuous transformation, personalization, and fun.
Project Image
With a keen interest towards the design of the XX century, I approach every project with conceptual thinking and a refined aesthetic.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT
The land on which this residential complex stands once belonged to architect Lvov, the visionary who introduced Palladianism to Russia, laying the foundation for classical estate architecture. Over the years, the ownership of this land shifted, and during the Soviet era, it became part of the ZIL factory.
architectural inspiration
This historical context forms the bedrock of the apartment's architectural inspiration. The interior architecture of this apartment intertwines elements of Palladian and classical architecture with the bold influences of constructivism and avant-garde styles.
